AI security startup Zenity has raised $125 million in a Series C funding round led by Norwest, with participation from new investors including SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Qumra Capital, Hitachi Ventures, and LG Technology Ventures. The Israel-based company, which has tripled revenue in each of the past two years, provides a security and governance platform purpose-built for AI agents—monitoring their actions in real time and blocking deviations that could put organizations or data at risk. Zenity counts many Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies among its customers, including SoftBank Corp., and plans to use the funding to accelerate global expansion and platform innovation as enterprises rapidly deploy autonomous AI across critical business systems. CEO Ben Kliger framed the opportunity in sweeping terms: "This is one of those rare opportunities in the cybersecurity world to really build a massive company in a massive category".
In consumer hardware, Portronics has launched the Lithius Pro series of USB-C rechargeable lithium-ion batteries in AA and AAA variants. The batteries feature a built-in USB Type-C port, eliminating the need for dedicated charging docks—users can recharge them using any standard Type-C cable. The Lithius Pro AA offers 2066mAh (3100mWh) capacity, while the AAA variant delivers 542mAh (814mWh), both with considerably higher capacities than the previous Lithius models. Additional features include a smart LED charging indicator, leak-proof reinforced shell, and multiple protection layers against short circuits, over-voltage, surges, overheating, and over-discharge. The batteries are compatible with remote controls, keyboards, wireless mice, toys, cameras, gaming controllers, lamps, and clocks. Pricing is set at ₹549 for a pair of AA batteries and ₹499 for a pair of AAA batteries, available through the Portronics website, major e-commerce platforms, and select offline retailers.
